Recently we have had some new old equipment taken out of our planes, and a new system fitted. This means that the planes need to be reweighed and their centre of gravity calculated. This is not something I am involved in or know who to do, but it was super cool seeing the guys weigh on of the planes today.

Today’s flight was bumpy, with multiple passengers getting air sick. 4 stops, taking nurses, patients, clinic supplies, fuel and an oxygen tank.

Jane is learning and practicing riding her bike. Today we practiced in the road behind our house. While she peddled around, at one stage I heard her saying to herself “Remember, rule number 3- always look where you are going.”

Me waiting for the patient to arrive at MK. Stretcher and plane ready to go
Im on call this weekend. At 13:00 I got a call to go and fetch a patient at Mokhotlong. It was a pregnant lady who needed to get to the main hospital in Maseru asap. Mokhotlong is pretty straight forward. It’s a long runway and usually no problems getting in there. So the flight was uneventful. All went according to plan, and the baby was NOT delivered on board, which was great for everyone.
