Jane's first flight (with me at the controls)
On Saturday 14 Dec, we had the annual ICAO day at the international airport. It’s a day when we sell tickets and give rides to children, who are mostly from the capital city of Maseru.
The International airport is 6-7 minutes flight away from where we usually fly out of, at the Air-force base. So, when we flew the planes over for ICAO day, we had empty seats and a short flight for people wanting a quick joyride.
It seemed like a good opportunity to take Jane up on a short flight to see how she liked it. She was excited, and brave, and once we were airborne, a little nervous. She did so great though and it was fun to take her up!
I did have to try and do most things with one arm though, as she was clinging to my throttle arm!

This weekend we decorated for Christmas. Emily has been making these amazing stockings for our family out of traditional fabric. I think they look great. We also too an afternoon drive out of town to get some family pics. It turned out to be super windy so we didn’t get any serious pics, but a lot of Jane being a jokster.
