This morning I woke up at 3:40, got to work at 4am, and was airborne by 4:50am. The reason I was so early is that yesterday afternoon I was not able to collect the pastor team, who had been out in the mountains for the last week, due to a storm. I had to leave them another night. So, in order to get the plane back for its normal schedule on time, I left early, collected them, and was back before 7am. I love flying early, so despite the early alarm clock, the rest was great!
Nov 28, 2019- Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! We all celebrated and had fun and lots of yummy food after work. When the whole MAF team, as well as other friends, all get together, there are lots of kids, and its a fun time!

Today I had 2 flights, with 5 stops, again. One the first flight we needed to move a freezer for the clinic from one airstrip to another. After some careful shoving and angling, we were able to get it in the plane!
On my second flight I took back a group of 5 special needs children back to their home villages. They attend school here in Maseru, and were returning home for the holidays. We had a bumpy flight, and I cannot imagine how unsettling that felt for the girl in the front seat who is blind! She didn’t get sick though, so that was a bonus for everyone.

Two flights today, with a total of 5 stops in the mountains. Nurses, clinic staff and patients all transported. Tough landing at one of the strips with some irregular wind. After 2 aborted landings I was able to get in.
